In 2009, we re-launched a completely overhauled e-commerce platform with a new logo and branding, all of which I’d developed.
This is probably the most well known object I’ve ever designed, seen by millions of customers around the globe in a wide range of contexts from 2009-2016.

When ModCloth launched it’s namesake collection, designed totally in-house, we wanted our customers to know why this was different. Our campaign called attention to all of the details that made these products different and why she would love them.

ModCloth was an industry leader in inclusivity. When we launched a swim campaign celebrating diverse bodies, it caught national attention. The copy and design on this campaign was kept minimal to emphasize the strength of the imagery.

Holiday 2015 at ModCloth was lush, bold & elegant.
We shot on location at the Greenbrier Resort and Hotel in West Virginia. Our backdrop was the stunning interiors designed by Dorothy Draper from the 1940’s through the 1960’s. We then constructed sets & still life shots in our studio to mimic the bold colors and graphics of Draper’s designs throughout the season.

The images below represent campaigns from my first years at ModCloth that show the evolution from our early beginnings (earliest images at the bottom). We always strived to do something fun and unexpected while creating plausible scenarios with just a little extra magic.
